About
I'm Aravind — founder and CEO of LatentForce, based in Bengaluru. I spend most of my time thinking about AI, software, and what it takes to build something durable from scratch.
What I'm building
Code is cheap. It always was — we just couldn't generate it fast enough to notice. AI has made that obvious. What isn't cheap is the understanding embedded in a codebase over years: the design decisions, the edge cases discovered in production, the implicit rules that nobody wrote down but everyone who's touched the system knows. That knowledge is the actual moat.
The problem is that this knowledge lives everywhere and nowhere — scattered across PRs, Slack threads, the heads of people who might leave. As AI writes more code faster, that gap between “code exists” and “code is understood” widens. Codebases become illegible. Agents hallucinate. Teams slow down even as output accelerates.
LatentGraph is our answer to that. A living semantic map of your codebase — architecture, business logic, dependencies — that keeps both humans and agents oriented as the code evolves. The goal isn't to replace understanding. It's to make it storable, transferable, and useful at the speed code now moves.
In December 2025, we raised a $1.7M seed round co-led by Ideaspring Capital and Yali Capital. I'm building alongside Vinay Kyatham (CTO) and Dr. Prathosh AP (Head of Research).
Research
Before starting LatentForce, I did my masters at IIT Delhi, where I worked in one of the first labs in India to seriously experiment with GANs, VAEs, and adversarial autoencoders. My research focused on latent space optimisation — understanding how the structure of a model's latent space affects what it can learn and represent.
That's where the name comes from. “LatentForce” is a nod to latent space — the idea that the most useful representations are often not the obvious ones.

Background
I studied computer science at IIT Delhi (M.S., 2017–2019) and Cochin University of Science and Technology (B.E., 2012–2016). Before LatentForce, I worked across ML engineering and data science — including a research internship at IISc Bengaluru and a stint at IBM.

I use this as a thinking blog, a research notebook, and a founder's log. Writing helps me think. Not a personal brand exercise — just a place to work through ideas in public.
